Finance Business Partner
* Business partnering to the Prudential UK and Group Head Office Business Units (Budgeting, Business Cases, monthly Financial Results, cost save challenges)
* Finance lead on key strategic tenders (Security Operations Centre, Telephony)
* Finance lead on establishing greater IT cost transparency (Cost Show-back) within PGDS – including a Proof of Value exercise with Apptio;

* Worked on a successful “Unlimited License Agreement” business case which I was required to present to the COO and attend the FSA board presentation.

Finance Business Support Manager
* Finance Business Support to the head of Technology Operations - Sales & Trading and direct reports
* presenting at monthly TO:S&T management meetings and working very closely with managers to sharpen business cases and proposals, discuss variances and collect information to improve the accuracy of accruals and capitalisation entries;
* coordinate all of the tracking of the 17 Technology Operations integration and synergy savings initiatives
* Responsibility for Budgeting, forecasting and globally co-ordinating reporting of P&L, Headcount and Capex.
Finance Analyst
* Business Support role within the Real Time-Technology (“RTT”) and Technology Effectiveness (“TE”) Functions
* Worked closely with the head of Finance – RTT to budget, forecast and globally co-ordinate reporting of P&L, Headcount and Capex;
* Met regularly with Managers to discuss Finance requirements, variances and collecting information to improve the accuracy of accruals and capitalisation;
* Liaise with a global team of Financial Accountants to make sure all entries recorded correctly.
* Involvement in integration and synergy savings initiatives, including tracking and updating of business cases.
Management Accountant
* Finance advisor to Directors in the Consumer Advice and Trading Standards (“CATS”) Division
* Budgeting and forecasting for CATS and other areas of the office.
* Accruals, month-end journals, reconciliations, creating and analysing month-end reports. Ad-hoc efficiency and spend analysis.
* Evaluating whether high-value invoices with key suppliers were in line with complex contracts.
* Set up Finance processes and first year budget for Consumer Direct, which was a new operational area
* Dealt with the CATS department in a way that was considered to be so effective that it was the basis for hiring two other management accountants to deal with the other departments in the office in the same manner.
Accountant
* Preparation and finalisation of financial accounts for companies, superfunds & trusts in a range of industries, including property, media, entertainment & IT
* Management accounting for clients, including setting budgeted financial statements (including Cash Flow budgets), producing monthly reports after information had been entered by bookkeeper, ensuring the accuracy of statements, analysing variance against budget and reporting back to the client
* Research into various matters, drafting letters of advice to clients;
* Meeting and liaising with clients, handling all aspects of the affairs of my set of clients
* Analyse and advise on how a client’s affairs, such as operating structure, bank accounts and taxation registrations should be set-up so as to streamline business structure and comply with legislation.
